Working with an NTP.png

I’ve gotten some questions from folks about what a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (or NTP) does, what it’s like to work with one, and what outcomes to expect.

As an NTP, I focus on using bio-individual nutrition and lifestyle changes to help you feel your best

So could working with an NTP be for you?

Let’s start with what I got out of everything, because I was my first client. I put things into practice as I learned!  I found myself with more energy, better digestion, regular periods (with minimal PMS symptoms), and less energy crashes throughout the day. My digestion has bothered me for over 12 years, so to find a better place with it through diet and lifestyle changes still blows me away.  Doctors told me nothing was wrong, but I didn’t feel like I was healthy. Does this sound like you? I have realized how many people feel this exact way. Once I realized how symptoms connected together, I made several changes and my digestive system works infinitely better now, and I can help you get there, too!

My practice clients report that by working together they feel like their relationship with food has improved, they report less heartburn, and they are more in-tune with their bodies.

If you’re looking for a lifestyle change and a way to use nutrition and food to feel better, then you’re in the right spot!

So what does it look like to work with me?

First, we set up a complimentary consultation and decide if we’re a good fit. I’ll listen to the reasons why you are seeking out a nutrition professional and I’ll let you know if I can help you! You’ll also leave the call with at least 1 action item you can use immediately, even if we don’t work together!

If we decide to work together, I’ll send you everything you need digitally - the contract, payment options, any waivers, and then all of the intake paperwork.

The intake paperwork includes a lengthy questionnaire (300+ questions) that gets really deep and looks at so many symptoms.  There is also an initial interview where you can type in all of the information about you and I get to know about your history. Then there is a 4 day food and mood journal, where you’ll track all of the food, drinks, moods, movement - everything.  This gives me an amazing full view of everything I need to look at you as a whole person.

Once you’ve filled out all of this paperwork, we’ll hop on an hour-long call so I can ask clarifying questions, discuss anything that I may want to know more about, and we’ll come up with 2-3 small action steps to take to improve things between the initial appointment and the next one!

Then, I’ll check in with you regularly, see how things are working, and change what we need to. We’ll also meet via video chat each month to really dig into things and work on next steps. I’m also available by messaging & email - you’ll be fully supported the whole time!

Have any questions? Shoot me an email or schedule a complimentary consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit!
